that second one though - WTF!!!
Quality receivers are expected to fight through it .... no question.

In the past, QJ wasn't able to .... but here, he seems like he was able to stabilize and locate the ball ... his eyes were locked on to it.

Whether he would have caught it without the tip, we simply do not know ... to be or not to be, that is still the question for QJ.

That would not have been an easy catch

You are a humble and truthful man D-Mac... I nominate you for mayor.
      Protect the QB
      Run the ball
      Play great defense

It sure was, but you cant throw away a mostly excellent pre season on one play. Harbagh has singled out Campbell for being excellent on contested catches. He made a highlight catch in his previous game

He is a raw project out of South Carolina who dont pass much who needs time to marinate on the PS, but i am certainly making a spot for a guy who has mostly played well and runs 4.4 at 6'4' and 220 lbs

LAR game cooled off his buzz but I agree. he's been good overall and you can't ignore 6'4" 220 who runs and catches like that. not on a team that wants to play bully ball.

Everyone messed up at the end (Must learn from)
Roman passes instead of runs at least on 2nd down.
Punter punts for LESS yards w a shank allowing the lambs to be closer to the Bolts end zone later on. Every yard matters!
Defense did not make stops. That rams receiver was 5 foot 8 who skied high for the clutch catch. Gotta want it guys! Cmon really....Sad

              Repent!

Yep...some of those parents can be a real pain...not only for the refs, but also the coaches...insisting on a sit-down meeting with the coach regarding why their not-so-talented kid doesn't get enough PT...ugh...

Not bad, North...if he makes the final 53 or gets called up from the PS...let's add Grimm Reaper to the Bolt Nickname Thread...

With Slaters injury, and the Chefs being too damned good, I cant see the Chargers winning more than 6 games.

Does the mayor of flipville go from thread to thread, stamping out these types of comments^

The many duties of the Mayor of Flipville include:

                          • Providing leadership and positivity for the citizens, especially encouragement in difficult times.
                          • Reminding us that despite sometimes unwelcome news in regards to injuries, the season is far from over.
                          • Setting the record straight regarding inaccurate posts, by providing a careful analysis of the facts instead of opinions based on wild, unsubstantiated rumors.
