We play them at least twice, have not beaten them in quite a while. They still have Mahomes and two burners on
the outside. One of them beat us last year. They were vulnerable last year and ended up the SB. Probably should
have lost 2-3 regular season games. But their D showed up in the POs and beat the league MVP.

If on the Chiefs first series, they are 3rd and 9, and Kelce gets wide open 15 yards downfield (like he always does) I will say we are probably going to lose. I'd rather see the Chiefs at 3rd and 3 than 3rd and 9. If Bozeman and Johnson are turnstiles, we will lose.

That being said, we certainly have much better receiver options, and better RB's. It's obvious to say this, but I think the team with the best DL wins this game.

I have to disentangle all of this and get back to the main point .... Chiefs have aging stars, players coming off of major injuries,
or players that are chronically injured: each one they will need to lean on.
Each one has associated with him serious doubts about how they'll be able to hold up during the season, or whether their body will any longer respond like it formerly did.
If you want to argue about any one of them being good bets to rely on come December ... then go ahead.

You put Najee in that boat? QJ? How many games did Becton miss last year?

The difference between Kelce/Jones position on their team, and Keenan's on the Chargers should be apparent to you.

If Kelce/Jones are just good players at their positions, would KC be fine with that: the answer is no .... their Super Bowl chances are probably at an end.
And if Keenan is just a solid complimentary piece, would the Chargers be fine with that: the answer is yes.

The only time we slowed down Kelce was when we stuck James on him years ago. Last year he killed us. Jones is better than any DL guy we have
by a country mile. So you picked bad examples.

Who is our 2nd WR? QJ, Allen, Tre Harris? KC's wide outs beat us last year without Rice. The only apparent here is that our #1 is better
than theirs. That's about it.

Their O line is not what it used to be. Ours has never been good. Becton has had 3 serious injuries in his 4 year career. He's already injured
this year, but it doesn't appear serious for now. Plus his PFF grades don't look so hot.

Their run game was better than ours last year. New year new guys on our side, but haven't proved a thing yet.

The division is tougher this year, so is our schedule. We need to beat the Chiefs at least once because the Broncos and Raiders look improved.
Can't count on beating both twice like last year.

nobody knows how the two teams will come out and play for the first game a week from tomorrow:

• ESPN has KC at 57% chance to win - thats closer to a coin flip than an advantage.
• The spread is KC -3. Thats one bounce of the football.

the game is statistically even, in other words. Either team can go out and fight and take it. you got no fight for LAC. all of your fight is for KC. its sad bruh.
