game show up this year. If it's as improved as we seem to believe then we could win this game. I do believe that if they cannot handle our run game, then
we also win this game. In other words it's up to our offense, which last year failed.

They also know Ladd and will likely see Mcduffy on him. So it may be up to the other guys to step up. QJ is likely out. So that leaves Tre and company.
The big caveat, Allen. If on his game he can change the dynamics.
KC's D was best in red zone, scoring D NFL #4, run D 9th best, pass D 19th. That was their weakest D. May as well throw some. They gave up a lot of passing yards. We have a S- load of good receivers if we count TEs and RBs as well as WRs. Give 'em a shot. Make KC defend the whole stinking field. PS: I don't think any one DB can shut Ladd down.

Which proves the point I've been making about how an NFL DC game plans against opposing offenses.

Just keep banging on them and we own the 4thQ.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
        Let’s win one for Mack.

Well that was a lousy plan! The rest of the Eagles offense crushed KC's defense while they were hugging Barkley.

This is what I'm saying. Spagnolo prioritized shutting down what the Eagles' offense did best - Barkley. Jalen Hurts stepped up, led the Eagles in rushing, threw 2 TD passes, ran for another. The Chiefs' D was not prepared for that, the Eagles' offense was multidimensional. My point is, the Chiefs may not be fully prepared to stop the Chargers' run game, because the Chargers' rushing offense has not been very good for a long time.

I am not giving the Chiefs roster a pass i just refuse to say it sucks and players like Chris Jones are old and done. Basically this dynasty has my respect to go with my hatred and I dont take them lightly, kinda ridiculous anyone does at this point.

I like our team but i am not cocky. This division will be ruthless this year. I hear some on here dissing the Broncos. I wouldnt, they are picked for 2nd in the division far more than we are. They dont have the weaknesses on the lines we do
Like you said, talk is cheap. I think the Broncos are built to compete with the Chiefs... with a good secondary. But I think we'll run it down their throats. Broncos offense is not that good. Their WR corps isn't scary at all. I think Minter finds a way to throttle them, again.

"Experts" seem to think that losing Thuney is no big deal... and they are propping the new LT and LG. Talk is cheap. I'll see it when I believe it.

I have zero idea what Reid thinks he's doing putting Simmons next to Kingsley Suamataia .... zero.
Its an accident waiting to happen.

Simmons, btw, has slightly more than 2 seasons of college ball playing OT,
and Suamataia only two years at tackle.

This is the type of shit Telesco would do that drove me mad.

What the Chargers need is 150 yds or more rushing from Hampton, Harris, et. al. in Brazil. If they accomplish this, the Chargers will win, I am confident of this. It's why they made significantly upgrading the run game (Harris, Becon, Hampton) their biggest priority this off-season.
Chiefs fans are worried about their run defense: Mike Pennel was just waived.
Evidently, Nnadi is a bust .....maybe their new acquisition Jerry Tillery can steady the ship!

I didn't expect this obviously but being on the wrong side of 30 it's pretty clear once they got into camp/preseason they figured out he's over the hill. I'm worried about our run defense. The increased offensive production I expect should offset it. Optimistically being ahead earlier in games will perhaps have opps throwing more to catch up & that'll help (?).

I guess you can speculate on specific positions like their o line. I am too busy worrying about our own offensive line. if Becton goes down we are back to last year, except with no Slater.

In a broader sense of walking the talk, I cant think of a team in the NFL that has done that more than the Chiefs....7 straight division titles, 5 straight AFC final appearances, 5 Super Bowl appearances including 3 wins

. I dont need to believe it, have been forced to watch it in real time for years

I think if the Chargers win, Omarion will be the star of the game and a huge reason why

Hurts ran for 72. Now we’re up to 130…and not done. Meanwhile the Chiefs only ran for 49.
