Why would we take our best player out of the game? Do you mean the Chiefs won't take our best player out of the game?

Well look, this is new year and we haven't yet seen our starters out there. But based on last year we were a running team not a passing team. In fact in games where
we had to pass since our run game wasn't working we lost. In fact we lost every game, less one where we didn't rush for more than 100 yards. We had 8 games
where we passed for less than 200 yards. We won every game where we rushed for more than 100 yards. Herbert was pressured on 50% of his passes.

On paper our O line is worse than last year. The only change Becton in, Slater out. Understand that there have been positional changes. But 4/5 guys
are still out there as our starters. Slater >> Becton. We're worse unless there is mass improvement on the part of Pickens, Zion and Bozeman.

Skill players wise I am not impressed with the rookie WRs. Hampton is our claim to fame. Harris may be out against KC. Not enamored with the rest
of our RBs. QJ is probably out. That leaves Ladd and Allen. How old is Allen?

I'm sure they would like to. Clearly our opinions and observations are widely different for the most part. Sorry I can't wish you luck but I hope that you come to enjoy this season.
      Go Bolts!

I had to check: in '24 we won 9 games when we passed for more yards, 2 when we ran for more.

          Three years younger than Kelce.

You think Kelce is going to roll this year?

Interesting piece on Chiefs' WR Marquise Brown. He was injured most of last season. He returned late in the year and played in the playoffs, but wasn't much of a factor. He has been battling injuries again in the preseason, leading some to question if he can ever be relied on. Xavier Worthy - all 165 lbs of him - looks to be the Chiefs' WR 1. Their 4th rnd rookie Jalen Royals is also banged up and probably will miss week 1. They also have Smith-Schuster. After that their WR depth chart is JAG.

Hollywood Brown hasn't been able to contribute much during his time with the Chiefs, but KC needs that to change while Rashee Rice is suspended.

Wait a minute wasn't there complaints last year in international stadiums not up to par with NFL cleats let alone big NFL athletes. Thus causing injuries? Chargers equipment staff better come prepared.

The Chiefs will game plan to stop our run game, because if they don't they will be toast. Last year we averaged 2.29 ypc and 3.7 ypc respectively and lost
both close games. We gained 197 yards through the air in game 1 and 202 yards in game 2. Neither effort was enough to beat the Chiefs. So I respectfully
disagree with you. If we can effectively run the ball we likely win this game. If Harris is able to play that will be a big plus.

QJ is likely out. That leaves Ladd and Allen as the go to guys. I watched
all of the preseason games. Tre Harris and the other WRs do not get separation. We have 4 TE but none are top tier receivers. Due to our O line
issues we may be running more 2 TE sets than normal. In other words our passing game is questionable.
damn, sounds like the Chargers should just save on airfare and skip the trip to Brazil...

comparing last year to this year offensively (just because we're still starting Bozeman, Zion, and Pipkins) would be a mistake when you factor in the upgrades at the other skill positions, of course the Chiefs will load up against the run, the Chargers have not exactly made it a secret that they want to run the ball so KC has no choice but to prioritize stopping the run...the question is will they be as effective against our passing game this year considering all the new weapons that Herbert has to throw too? And it's not just passing in general, I think this team will be a bit more dangerous than the 2024 version, thru the air, in the red zone...

After reading this I think I need Antidepressants... LOL! We Could add were missing JK Dobbins as well. I think our overall offense is at least 10% better but because we have so many rookies it might not start to click until after the 4th game. I'm good with a 2-2 record and then start clicking...
Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

I would roll out of bed slowly too if I was sleeping next to my billionaire fiancé.
