Having him (over last year's RBs) will make the Chiefs have to tackle better. He'll likely get to the 2nd level on some plays.
I'll take Hampton vs CB's and safeties 1v1 most of the time. Make those DB's tackle. It may take a toll by the 4th quarter.

If the Chiefs sell-out to stop the run... most likely brings LB's and safeties up. Probably creates space in the middle where Ladd an KA are so good. Add in contributions from Gadsden and Conklin (Stone Smartt had decent game v the Chiefs)... and we have a lot more options in the passing game than last year. Ladd didn't even play v the Chiefs the 2nd time we played them.

    Fixed for you

Hampton has yet to play a down in an NFL regular season game.

Aside from "Idiot Americans" I can find nothing political about the post. Even that statement comes from a place of European POV... which sadly is exactly what my English friends think of futball... ahem, football.... ahem, grid-iron.

The financial statements about Swift and/or Giselle are factually correct... and much less weird than nearly every post on the "Belichick" thread (may it rest in peace).

Final judgement: Weird... but not political. There are avenues of the post that offer possible in-roads to further political musings/wanderings... if those occur, I will break my dam-foot off!
As someone with several English friends I can say, they make the 4th of July supercharged. Nothing says 4th of July like sharing the date with a couple of cats from England.

The Chargers have fallen out of favor among the NFL punditry. Almost all the pundits rank not just KC but also Denver ahead of the Chargers, one guy is predicting the Chargers will finish 4th in the AFCW behind the Raiders. This is good.

Denver getting lots of off season love.

I can see it. they look like a really solid football team. Good o line, might have top defense. Nix is better than some think.

Not sure how it all plays out, but our division is going to be intense

I honestly don't know that to expect from Hampton. I hope he is at least as good as, let's say, Joe Mixon was in his prime. But I'll be even more ecstatic if he's as good as Nick Chubb in his prime. I remember Chubb giving the Chargers' D fits in a few games 4-5 years ago, and wondering if the Chargers will ever have an RB like that again. Chubb not that long ago was a 1300-1500 yard, 12 TD force of nature. That is what I aspire Hampton can be for the Chargers.

Side note: Both Mixon and Chubb right now are reminders of how short RB careers typically are. Both of them are 29 and on the Texans' roster, Mixon with some mysterious foot injury starting the season on the NFI list. Chubb reportedly doesn't look good in practice, he's lost his agility and burst. Both these guys were among the league's elite RBs just a few seasons ago.

I never said it was political, only weird.

                We have got a stud!

Best RB since LT, I am fully confident of that. K Mack watched him in practice and just smiled and said when you know...you know.

Full all around 3 down skill set...power, burst, contact balance,.,,finishes runs with violence

Since LT. I like that. I hope you're right. You could see the difference in LT his first game.

I could be wrong but I think Omarion comes out and balls week 1. I cant see Najee getting many snaps after no contact all summer

Ah yes... I had that honor, too!
On days that they were overly obnoxious, I'd wear my Diego Maradona jersey around the apartment.

Has the Chiefs defense improved? Lost Justin Reid, their only effective NT in Mike Pennel, and Chris Jones is a year older .... they brought in Tillery, an oft injured cb, some rookie linemen who are years away from worrying about - if ever, and the concussed Nohl Williams, who the coaching staff likes because he takes to coaching.

No worries... I think I got similar responses last year when I was excited to see what rookie Joe Alt could do.
