We didn't have Omarion last season and I don't think that Roman has his playbook engraved on a stone tablet.Originally posted by BayAreaBoltz View Post
Does Roman have this in his playbook? Don't recall seeing this type of designed or outlet pass a lot last season.
regardless what the names may suggest.

There was a pretty interesting interview with him in the offseason about what he could and couldn't do last year, especially with Herbert missing so much time in camp and then being so limited with his ankles in the season. It will be interesting to see the he does with his new toys at the skill position.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post

Agree. He took a year off, watched a lot of film, went to college games, NFL games and thought about how he could improve. It's time.Originally posted by richpjr View Post

it is home from the standpoint of uniform selection (white or dark) and any other "home team" selections (coin toss?), and we lost a home game on the schedule, but it is a neutral site.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post
Hard to argue that but the NFL says we're the home team there.
i still find it odd that we allowed one of our most critical games all season to be on a neutral site. if we want to win the division, the division goes through KC.
if you want to talk about tampering from "big brother" (NFL marketing), this is the game.

Roman doesn't run a lot of traditional RB screens (out in the flats). He likes to pass off of play-action... which means RB's are running vertically, rather than horizontally. RB's will set up several yards beyond the LOS in the middle of the field after a play fake... ala Haskins vs Broncos.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post

He will run TE screens in the flats, though.
Hampton fits the Roman mold.

People mentioned that Spaggs likes to blitz. No better way to beat a blitz than with a shovel pass. You'll notice that Hamptons shovel pass came against a Florida State blitz.Protect the QB
