Minter should show the entire defense the last KC drice against us last year.
no second guessing, if you have PM in sight, follow through with a form tackle and let the chips fall afterwards.
    Imho.

I'm sure Daiyan Henley doesn't need to be reminded of what happened to him in KC last year

Ladd McConkey is a better version of Keenan, and now we have both of them. I doubt they can double both and get away with it, not with a QB as good as Herbert.
        A useful pattern emerging...
Can you do us all a favor and perhaps, manufacture some doubt about finding another tackle as good as Slater or Alt?

Most forget this. As healthy as we are, I'm thinking we have the best shot to beat them on over a year!
Most people forget that during the Steelers game Herbert and Slater were ruled out by the middle of the third quarter and Alt limped off the field early in the fourth. Herbert got hurt during the Panthers game... he played the Steelers on one leg.

Alt and Slater were out for the Chiefs game... again Herbert was limping around on one leg.
It was easy for the Steelers and Chiefs to stack the box and stop the run without Slater/Alt and an immobile Herbert.

The Cardinals tried the same thing (stack the box vs the run). Herbie lit them up for 350 yards... and Jalen Reagor snatched defeat from the jaws of victory... fumbling at the 1-yard line. The Cardinals ran for 181 yards... the defense could not stop the run. This was a game they should have won.

Chargers were moving the ball vs the Ravens... until Dobbins went down 5 minutes before halftime. The Chargers run defense had no answer for Derrick Henry. They allowed a 45-yard passing TD in the last 30 seconds before halftime. In less than 24 seconds, Chargers offense got into FG range and pulled close 14-13 right before halftime. The Ravens would end up with 202 yards rushing... Henry went for 140 yards (5.8ypc).

Bucs loss was a complete collapse on both sides. Dobbins didn't play. The run defense gave up 223 yards. Bucky Irving ran for 117 yards (7.8ypc). Mayfield went 22/27, 288 yards, and 4 TD's.

Second game vs. the Chiefs... no Ladd McConkey... no JK Dobbins. Despite not having any offensive weapons, somehow the Chargers lead with 4:35 to play. The defense lets the Chiefs drive down the field and kick a FG off the upright.

You see guys, football is a team game. You can't blame everything on one side of the ball. You can't blame losses on one coach... certainly not when significant playmakers are injured and not playing. Remember how important the TE position is to Roman's offense...? Last year, the Chargers 2 receiving TE's (Hurst/Smartt) combined for 24 catches, 281 yards, 0 TD's. I'm not a Roman apologist... but there is no way you blame everything on him.

10 points against the Steelers. 10 points against the Chiefs. 15 against Arizona, 17 against the Chiefs, 17 against TB. 23 against the Ravens who had problems with
their D all year. Can't win when you can't score no matter how bad or good the D plays. Doesn't mean the D is without faults. It does mean the offense couldn't get the
job done. Injuries or not. Every team has them, that's what backups are for. But scoring less than 20 points doesn't cut in the NFL. Not all Roman's fault, as already
outlined we had issues with the O line and lack of playmakers. But don't tell me the offense was good, it wasn't.

For Roman, this year is the year to prove it.

I think they ease him along slowly to start the season. I think Hampton gets the majority of touches. Overall that's great - keeps both guys fresh for the long run.
So your saying the Najee situation is a little blurry?

I've already explained Steelers and Chiefs to you. Yes, everybody deals with injuries. But very few offenses can score with multiple, high-level players out at the same time.

The Ravens defense averaged 21.2 points per game... we scored 23.
We put 40 on the Pats (24.5)
We put 34 on the Broncos (18.3)
                  34 on the Raiders (25.5)
                  34 on the Bengals (25.5)

We can cherry-pick all day long. Chargers had the #11 scoring offense in the NFL... with multiple stars out on offense multiple games... and no real playmakers except Ladd. Their offense had the 2nd lowest turnover rate. Don't tell me the offense was bad, it wasn't.

At any rate I'm watching how our offense is going to do in this game. This was a major problem last year.
Chargers #11 scoring offense last year. Chiefs #15 scoring offense last year. You'll see it when you believe it.

We're too old for Taco Bell. Maybe IHOP or Denny's.
