One of the few bad things about relocating to Tennessee was the Mexican food is horrible...until some guys from San Diego opened up a taco shop near me with real SoCal Carne Asada - heaven!Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post
I see from the posts how many of us harkened back to warm memories of the initial emergence of Robertos across the county in the late 80s / early 90s, and el revolucion of culinary joy it brought us. Robertos alas fell a few notches while upstarts took their crown, yet we remain forever grateful for his contribution to humanity.
I too capped many a debaucherous nights at Robertos. It was my main food staple for years. I still enjoy it perhaps once a week (rare double-visit weeks) from my newest best friend, Senor Pancho. He lives in a choo choo train and magical delights emerge as if by magic. the most lovely Mexican gal there has been in love with me for 20 yrs now, we have a beautiful connection. alas I am spoken for (I may be imagining this last part, but …. Pretty sure
).
the teenagers insist we call it The Train but have faith in our future, for they get it.

The quality degraded in every restaurant/fast food establishment circa 2009. During the last financial crisis, a lot of the old suppliers went out of business, and the supply chain had to be restructured -- the quality has suffered as a result ever since. I eat at Vallarta Express and Tacos El Gordo mostly nowadays, and if I'm in the area, Tacos El Franc.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

Fact check: TRUE! And proudly so!Originally posted by Boltnut View PostYou wanted Greg Roman fired before he was ever hired.

And it's not because he's such a "balanced" offensive coordinator. Hahaha...sorry, that still makes me laugh. I'd LOVE that to be true.
It's because he hasn't been a good OC in several years and his passing game concepts tend to be on the "less creative side" and I don't see him coaching players up the way I see it happen on the defensive side of the ball.
Notice I haven't thought about starting a Fire Jessie Minter thread yet? Interesting how that works.

Maybe it's due to the offensive minds coaching the KC side of the ball vs. the offensive minds coaching our side?Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
Weird the national media keeps taking about the Slater injury and the Charger o line as a liability in this game but havent said a peep about a rookie LT in first start besides Kinglsey who flamed out badly at T last year and is playing a new position beside rookie LT.

not really a fair comparison for Roman, it's almost as bad as comparing Staley to Minter...we don't need Roman to be Andy Reid, with the defense that we have, we just need him to be competent...Originally posted by BayAreaBoltz View Post

I have the latest version smart tv in my office. Sometimes when I'm on the phone it will start transcribing certain lines and show me different apps. And that's when the TV is OFF. Those things are listening all the timeOriginally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post
Same, a dumb TV for me and I'm hanging onto my old Sony first generation flat screen high definition TV as long as I can, it's been 20 years and I'm still getting my money's worth, plus I keep hearing nightmare stories about the smart TVs...

My comment was honest as it can get.
nothing to do about race. One of the best halftime shows but all I heard and saw on Fox News was how anti American the halftime show was. Which made no sense to me as they made the halftime show as they made the American flag during the halftime show.
watched it with a Trump supporter and she had a debate with another woman two white women one thought it was great and listens to his music. The other Trump supporter white woman couldn’t stand it and thought it was bad anti American but the other Trump supporter was asking her what was so bad about it????
so I just didn’t get it. Those are two women.
So Taylor will be safe she won’t rock the boat and it will be lollipops and ice cream. I don’t care what you say.
just like Beyonce was controversial air quotes and Usher was a great show to.
just calling the balls and strikes and I support his music.
Race is a part of the conversation but has been since Kap. I was making the point that Taylor takes the conversation away from the controversies of the NFL and brings it to something we can all agree on that we like her!!!!!!! And the NFL likes that.
So not being political but seeing and calling out what I see and why Godell likes Taylor.
