I understand the disgust you have for Staley, but the bolded, above, is belied by the fact that he remains gainfully employed in the NFL.

Frauds of the caliber you're talking about *don't* remain gainfully employed in the NFL.

My worst HC list might start with Kevin Gilbride….damn that was bad. Lynn had some just dumb decisions that flat out lost us games…dont know how we pulled off a 12-4 with him…liked the guy but he wasnt hc material. Staley….ugh…i really liked his leadership ability and some of his traits but he flat out ruined the D which had a lot of talent….his scheme was garbage here and he should have had a DC and changed the scheme. His 4th down philosophy was aggressive when he should have been less so ….i think he is young and may learn from it …he just wasnt really ready for a hc spot.

That said …F the Raiturds!!!! Ahhh….i feel better now.

We were effective when we had the ball against a better D of KC than LV has. KC offense has always been hard to get off the field and without turnovers we still were pushing 2 score leads for much of the game. LV played a Pats team that struggles on O and D…neither of which they will face Monday night. If we control the clock well, dont turn it over and the D does its normal I see LV just making more mistakes and we will win this. Sure its possible the Turds win but i think its 25% chance vs our 75% chance to win. If our D can pressure Geno i think its game over. I respect Geno but year 1 in all new schemes we could dominate this one.

The main point he stressed publicly when he was brand new: that he tailors his defense to fit the skills of each player - I fell for it, and so did you.
He then quickly turned around and kept on hinting that the players he had didn't fit 'his' defense.

They got rid of some very good defensive players because his evaluation of his own players was horseshit.

Wow. You don't know Staley at all. Don't understand this cheap shot. Pretty dark.

His players viewed him as inauthentic in their personal interactions with him, and a blameshifter, and that is why they all quit on him that night.

Does that work for you YAC?

Staley doesn't bother as much as it does for some of you. He was a HOT coordinator and a lot of team were going for him. He just wasn't ready. Neither was Belicheck when he was first hired.
Lynn, I like a lot.... as a person.
Coryell was beloved by everyone, including me. As a coach and a person. In today's world, because he never got to the big one, many would questions his chops.
Just one more wish this week. Chiefs and Raiders to lose.

On a podcast I listened to yesterday, Greg Cosell says don't worry about Omarion Hampton, he's going to be a good one, even though he didn't do a lot against KC, Cosell likes the way he runs.

I also like the way he runs, and hopefully the vision improves.

But the problem with RBs, and why they aren't considered a premium position, is that they are so dependent on a good OL and run scheme.

A RB will not fix this running attack.

Not really. Blame-shifting flows both ways, and losing seasons often get things sideways between coaches and players. Anyways, I don't claim to know the full story about what really went down or the nature of the man.

Glad we've got Harbaugh. Still will wish Staley the best.
