Seriously? I wouldn't have expected this from you. Ficken didn't suddenly forget how to coach ST, the struggles have to do with a turnover of players, not his coaching.

He hasn't adjusted well to the new rules;
nor was the special teams all that good last year.

He gets a lot of input in player personnel, and he's not producing.

Putting Tuli out there against Indy and directing the kickoff to his side was amateurish.
If he goes somewhere else next year, I won't be disappointed.

I don't agree at all. I think the people criticizing Ficken don't understand what is really going on, nor they do they understand how special teams works.

Nice to see QJ have a decent game today. Especially since some people here thought it meant something that he was targeted once in the Vikings game. It’s just the reality of having four good WRs now. Last week, QJ indirectly helped Ladd get his TD because the safety Harrison Smith decided to help double QJ on his vertical route instead of Ladd.

He seems flat-footed and behind the rest of the league about the new KO process and how to scheme and coach a ST squad to excel in it. I didn’t say this last year, but he’s now had a year and a half a I don’t see any improvement. I’m not blaming the same roster that everyone says is much better for all other questions.

He’ll have the rest of the season to try and figure something out. i hope he does.

Sebestian Joseph Day dove at Alt's lower legs, at thin air, ostensibly.
It was certainly not in an effort to legally sack Herbert.
Every NFL player knows this is blatant dirty play territory.
If he had done this at Herbert it would have a penalty for diving at the QBs legs.

We have a history of the Tennessee Titans pulling this shit on Charger players.

Yep. I was going to say something about this as well. QJ was a stud. The receiving corps is really deep, no one receiver is going stand out every week. It really is the best situation.
