Feels odd going into a week with no expectations! What I am hoping to see is a few of the guys knocking off the rust and then getting out of the game. I'm also hoping to see about 50 rpos with lance and patterson and most importantly no new injuries!

I'm not wildly supportive of him either but Harbs seems to like him and he's my guy. And I'm sure he should look better working around an OL of quality blockers. I'd like to see how that goes. I believe everyone on offense is impacted by the poor OL blocking. Straighten that out first.

Harbs seems to always love the guys he’s riding with. I try not to put to much weight on Harbaugh affection. To me, WHEN he can lock onto a defender he’s a big load. But I sense he his larger size correlates to lower athleticism to match with the fast more dynamic athletic defensive players he’s trying to line up and they slip slide past or around him too easily. Thats why he’s seen grasping at air at times. Just a hunch, idunno.

it feels odd to have 30 pages of pregame thread with nobody talking about the actual game. No predictions, no “gotta do this/that”, no watch-out-fors … nothing about the game. Its a first for me here.

if we had beat the texans, this would be the most electric game of the season, but it got neutered down to the Lance exhibition game.
