Arthur Smith would be a marginal upgrade over Roman IMO.

McDaniel still number 1 for me. But Brady instantly becomes #2.

Joe Brady was my #2 choice for HC back in 2021 behind Jim Harbaugh when there were rumors he was considering an NFL HC position. Brady would work as an OC, but he'd be gone in a year. McDaniel may stay for two years, potentially, before someone gives him another serious look at HC.
