Kaltenberger's college tape looked a hell of a lot better than the few LAC exposures we saw under Devlin and Gro's tutelage - that is for sure. I had high hopes of a serviceable player steal after UDFA list was posted and I watched some highlights.

This is MHO, I believe there are some really good Olinemen that are on the roster or that are now Chargers free agents. Hortiz/Staff have a good track record over the last couple of years of identifying and bringing in talent that fit the Chargers scheme etc. I have a hard time believing that they missed on every IOL they have brought in. Hortiz traded for 2 olinemen this year. We know how ************ Hortiz is and how much he values draft picks. He's not trading for a guy just to trade for them.

It's very easy for us to put on blinders after watching how bad this online played and the way it ended to say everyone sucks and now, we need to sign all new shiney toys because we believe eveyone of the IOL suck. They did suck this year but I am in the camp that it was more the coaching sucked vs the players.

But to get to your question yea I think Branson is another that could be good with a good coach like Berry, IMHO.

Maybe, like Cleveland, you bring him back for the vet minimum just for camp depth -- but don't count on him for anything more than that

I think age and athleticism is holding back Boz more than coaching, IMHO.

Boze really isnt a scheme fit for McDaniels / Barry blocking style. He is too big. 35 pounds heavier than Brewer.

I would be happy if Barry turns tis Oline into a top 14 OLine - if not top 10. But just top 14 - playoff teams are top 14
