    Cheers!
Sorry if it came across wrong. My apologies

I was in on Linderbaum until I saw the price tag. And once they signed Biadasz and his PFF score (which was better than the other options, McGovern, Fortner, Mays)-I though good signing. That makes sense - don't need to get into a bidding war over Linderbaum

I just wanted sure fire upgrades at OG and if that meant he spent more - so be it. Because here is the thing for Hortiz and the org - if they go cheap and it fails, fans will not be happy. If he had said spent the 60/4 on McGovern or 33/3 for SEumalo, fans would probably have still been pissed if the player sucked and would question his ability to identify OG- but at least he tried.

I hope Cole Strange works. All offseason I wanted the floor raised. And I guess, Stange and Penning are no worse than Becton and Zion. I think Biadasz, thats a good signing.

You seem to get really emotional over every move. The guy is no where near a starter. Were you expecting a pro bowler at this time?
LOL no but this isn't just bottom of the roster ...it is bottom of the barrel of signings

His career pass-blocking efficiency rating of 94.7 is worse than any guard in the NFL with 500 snaps last year.

Did you skip the last two pages of this thread where we built a consensus around “middle ground”?

The former undrafted free agent has allowed 52 quarterback pressures in his 580 career pass-blocking snaps to this point, per Pro Football Focus. He has a career pass-blocking efficiency rating of 94.7. To compare, the worst guard in the league with at least 500 pass-blocking snaps last season had a pass-blocking efficiency rating of 95.2.

Mekhi Becton, who the Chargers basically ran out of town, had a pass blocking efficiency rating of 95.5. Throughout his entire career, Awosika has been worse than Becton was last season.
Wow! Becton wasn't as bad as we saw. Amazing! It must have been Zion that allowed all those hits on 10. "What, me worry?" Bozeman just looked the other way. What was his rating 99.9?
          PFF blocking stats appear meaningless.

How often do we get a visit from Riverwalk's caustic grandpa? ON THE FUCKING REGULAR, BRO! Like, daily! Multiple times! It's constant!

You might want to try portion control.

They are not meaningless when they totally correlate what you see on the field as we saw last year with our offensive line. We saw our 32nd ranked o line all have brutal rankings and we saw the shit kicked out of Herbert on a weekly basis

I am not sure what you are going on about there lol. Those stats don't remotely suggest Becton wasn't bad, quite the opposite, not sure where your take came from. Becton's bad numbers were just used in the article to show this new guys numbers are even worse than Becton, worse than any guard in the NFL last year.

Becton was terrible, as was Bozeman...Zion wasnt much better. Our entire IOL was dreadful. Has that not been the point of concern all off season? Wanting a functional IOL that will not get totally dominated in playoffs?

Agree with bolded. I struggle with the implication that Kayode was worse and that he can't block well in anyone's offense.
What's up with PFF? Really lousy blocking gets a 95 +?

I read that Kayode played in 13 games for the Lions last year, primarily backup OG, 2 starts and gave up 0.5 sacks. That looks far better than Bechton.

I did skip them I admit it.. "middle ground" as to what exactly?

I just find a strongly worded post about a career backup a little silly. That's all. No big deal.

Quacksaw is going to go apoplectic if I repeat myself, so for his sake, I can’t repeat it.

Nah, they're more important than what our new offensive coordinator thinks.

Two months ago: "Yeah, we got Mike McDaniel! Let's go!"

Now: "Mike McDaniel likes shitty linemen! Look at the PFF scores of the guys we're bringing in! He's going to get Herbert killed!"
