OT: Coming to SD in October and need a nice lunch spot recommendation

I will be in San Diego in early October and I have a lunch date planned. Any recommendations on a nice lunch spot? Nothing too fancy, just casual and nice. No particular type of food as long as it's good. My date lives in Clairemont. It doesn't have to be near there but not too far either, meaning the north county is probably out.

Stone at Liberty Station. The food is just ok, but since it's Stone..the beer is good and the scenery is nice.
