I've seen evidence of learning based on the TOP focus in games, complimentary football and the fact that he's had the team in every game this season, when limited by a subpar roster (not to mention subpar play from your playmakers on D.) Disagree that there is evidence of no learning. And personally, no problem with coachspeak and canned answers. I have no doubts that's not the attitude in the building. I do believe its way to early to make a judgement that he should be fired.
Sorry Fellas. Mike McCoy is not the guy.

We also see the evidence of no learning based on continued problems.
I liked the organizational attitude initially, but dude take some ownership, take the heat. When calls are being questioned I don't want to hear this crap....say that's my call. Don't say we made that decision together. Give us some idea of what you were thinking, don't just say we did what we thought was best and I am not going to talk about it anymore than that.
I have a big problem with all of that.
Screw McCoy.

Never wrong: Matthews, Butler, Ingram

Never wrong: Last year's defense
Never right: Telesco
"Never" is a strong word, and none of the above posters actually used that word (I don't think), but the ball washing of the "Never Wrongs" stands in such stark contrast to the vilification of the "Never Rights".

We have the questionable decision in Philly to play conservative and set up kind of a long FG instead of trying to get closer or score a TD.
We have the abandonment of the passing game in a one score game in Tennesse leading to an incredibly conservative decision to trust a suspect defense with the game on the line. They blow it and we lose.
Cowboys game, did OK.
Raiders game, played like crap. I seriously think accepting the penalty when we pulled with in a score was a mistake as I have laid out on this board. Raiders may have punted to us or they have to take a big risk on one play instead we make the decision for them and give them a free third down play even though we had just faced them and stopped them on 3rd down the play before.
Colts game, not many problems. We had redzone troubles again with no power running game in the redzone and some criticized kicking the long FG at the end instead of going for 4th and short but I think it was an okay decision either way.
Jags game. Well redzone troubles again letting the half expire with no points.
Redskins game. I am done with this clown. Screw McCoy.

Let me put it this way, in all my years watching this team (or heck even the entire nfl) I can't remember ever feeling so poorly about a coaches ability to manage a game and make basic strategic decisions.
That list I compiled is ridiculous. Having that many issues of this type with a head coach over a few seasons I can see, but this is half way through his first season. That's a huge red flag. This guy does not seem like someone who is going to learn or improve in this area based on the things he says and his over all attitude.migrated from chargerfans.net then the thenflforum.com then here
