Throw enough shit at the wall...something sticks?Originally posted by Stinky Wizzleteats+ View PostDraft 7 CBs next year!
Agree with fixing the pass rush. But Cox is so bad out there. Reminds me of Sammy Davis. Same number, same stature, always late on the ball, always bewildered, etc.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

Perhaps another example - and we're not the only team who is victimized by this - of a player who gets his big payday and just coasts??? Isn't he guaranteed over $10 million?Originally posted by Boltx View PostThrow enough shit at the wall...something sticks?

i didn't think Cason was that bad considering the lack of pass rush during his years here, just inconsistent but solid enough number 2 guy. we're essentially paying Cox premium corner money for the same or worse production of either Cason and Jammer.
it also doesn't help that people have high expectations for that uber rare shutdown corner....i mean as maddening as Cromartie's play and character is/was, he's still considered one of the top corners in the league so that should tell you there aren't really that many top corners....

Dam in looking at the 1st round DBs over the last 10 years 2003-2013 you make a good point
Cromartie
Revis
Leon Hall
Patrick Peterson
Joe Hayden
Asomugha- passed on his Raider years
That's not a good % based 41 first round CB

[QUOTE=OhioBolt;44914]I'm terrified we will draft a CB high next year. They are so low percentage it's scary. Plus the league rules are just so geared towards passing, it's makes the position nearly impossible. I would rather invest in the safety positions and pass rushers and just try to field a decent set at CB.Originally posted by homeless simpson View Posti didn't think Cason was that bad considering the lack of pass rush during his years here, just inconsistent but solid enough number 2 guy. we're essentially paying Cox premium corner money for the same or worse production of either Cason and Jammer.
