I would do the following cut
Phillips we have 4 safeties (Adaae, Boston, McCoil, Jenkins) and Desmond King can go from nickel CB to Safety if needed I would keep Micheal Davis or pickup RB Ryan Mathews I like our backs the only thing is if Gordon went down our backups are small guys not exactly the guys you want on short yardage runs.

McGrath or Culkin one needs to go we don't need 4 TE's and maybe one will be gone, if we claim some cable backup OT on waivers


Dzunbar I am thinking once Perryman is healthy we can find a replacement for Dzunbar his only asset is special teams there are guys like him that have more talent as a backup

Culkin ahead of McGrath is surprising, unless McGrath is still banged up. Or they just like Culkin's Versatility to play FB too.

Culkin was a very pleasant surprise to me (other than the laser shot that clanked off his hands from Jones and was picked). The book on him was that he was a good inline blocker and that was about it. He has shown he can block on the move and his hands and athleticism are pretty good. Seems like an ideal H-back, and a better player than Watt.

They didnt use Culkin at FB in preseason so i doubt he will play there during the season so whether he is better than Watt is irrelevent. To me he is one of the next guys in line to get cut when we need to bring in another player.

We keep bringing in TEs so moving Culkin to HB and replacing him at TE in the future is not out of the question. Watt has not made a big impact, but this is only his second year.

Think the team values him more than you do. If they cut a TE it should be McGrath, especially since he's banged up. Culk was a nice find
