If the team continues to win some games, which they should with the schedule the way it is. Whether they make the playoffs or not...

We're looking at a mid-round pick. Maybe late/middle. Rosen will be long gone. I don't think Darnold will come out, but if he does, he'll be gone too.
Josh Allen will be gone by then, as well.
I don't think Mayfield will be a good pro quarterback. But I thought the same about Russel Wilson, so I could be off there.

I think the Bolts are better off looking at one of those 3rd-5th round guys that are always there. Gamble? Yes. As we saw with Peterman yesterday. (although he could end up being ok?)

And PR isn't going anywhere, I don't think. He still gets paid good money, and is under contract. We just got Cardale before the season, so I'm thinking they will go with those two guys next year.

So I think we're better off looking at who could be in the draft the following year for a QB.

I'm with the line of thinking of Strengthening the D-tackle or the Oline in the first couple rounds.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

That little punk demonstration last game makes me wonder if he is mature enough to be a QB in the NFL.

Im on his train as well. Hes just got something about him i like. I agree with Rich his actions last game were pretty bad. But he's a fiery competitor. Its when he does his Manziel money fingers that he sort of concerns me. I wouldn't be doing anything that kid did. lol But hes an extremely talented player who can move. Not a running QB but if watch what Wentz does under pressure with his legs i think he can do those things for us. In fact he sort of reminds me of Wentz just 4 inches shorter. Similar game. Active moving in the pocket. A sort of slinger arm motion. Laser balls across his chest. Good touch on deep balls. Able to turn something out of nothing.

Probably a combo of Wentz and Danger Russ.

You hope for a Brees or Wilson type for a ceiling. And i think his floor is maybe a Kirk Cousins type.

Mayfield's immaturity concerns me. A lot. I don't think I'd use a first rounder on him.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

His maturity is a problem, but the bigger issue to me is that he holds the ball too long and doesn't read defenses well (or didn't). I haven't watched him lately, but when I saw him last year, he didn't project well in the NFL, IMHO.

Maybe Rivers isn't quite done yet...

He was great today but I still stand by my point that his better days are behind him and we currently don't have a viable prospect on the roster.

Yep, he was throwing while rolling out, something we all know is not his strong point.
