I do like the general pickup though, he was a good all around guy and a big reason why Indy didn't tank last year after it put all it's eggs in on TRich. We have a legit 2nd back that can carry the load now, pass block, and get some catches.

I actually like Brown a lot, especially given RM's injury history. But RB depth was not close to our biggest need and we could have picked up a running back with a mid-round pick and used this money on a defender.

UTgehlken: Charger were exposed in playoff loss to DEN. Ryan Mathews ankle injury. No run game without him. Donald Brown makes backfield more dynamic.
Ghelken gets it. I thought backup RB was a priority this offseason. My only issue is the price.
