Can't say that I disagree. There's some serious RB depth in this draft.

True, but there aren't any real good ones. Aside from Hyde and Mason, the rest seem like specialty players or 3rd down backs. There's a bunch of slow, plodder type RB's as well. Personally I would rather use picks on as many WRs as I can get my hands on in this draft. Now that is a LOADED position.

Can I say I am just glad it's not Toby Gerhart Brown is a lot more suited to this system.

Don't recall posting anything about us being out of money or how TT prioritized anything. But IMO, a RB who won't start and backup ILB are not close to the biggest needs on the team. And since we are reportedly one of the teams with the least amount of cap space starting today, I'd have preferred to use it on a defender.

Colt fans seem to be ok with it, but some hate that he's coming here.

They are all pieces in building a team. Doesn't really matter when we get them IMO.

That is true. It's only been one day of FA and the draft is still to come. If TT has another draft as good as last year's was, it will certainly help. I just have a hard time thinking rookies will give the instant impact at some positions we need as a veteran could.

The Colts had essentially given up on him until injuries and TRich sucking forced him into action and then he excelled. Hopefully that can continue.

Looks like McCoy is getting his wish of multiple time share. He's often referred to Carolina days with multiple RB's sharing the load.

I remember his big knock coming into the draft was his narrow shoulders. lol

I don't fault TT for not going after CB's given the amount of contracts being given out. We just can't play in those ranges right now. Maybe the bottom falls out of that market once all the big names are gone and the agents start scrambling. It does seem to setup for us to take a CB in the draft in one of the first few rounds.
