I remember the 5 interception playoff game where the Oiler's defense had our signals and knew what we were doing - ugh.

It's easy to call out the greats. Give me a healthy Verrett on this defense and that would be awesome. Throw in Cromartie before he go 6 kids. Even put Donnie Edwards in the middle.

Any throwback on this team is gravy.

            Good call.
the question should be, which former non HOF Charger would you bring back.
            non-Chargers ring of honor?

I've never seen a game where two players literally willed themselves to compete at superbowl level for a regular game in my life. It reminded me of the notion of Never ever quit until the last second is off the board. Winslow in top condition was a Jim Brown type takeover player. LT of course is the stupid given but I wanted to remind everyone of how great winslow was in his prime.
I always said Winslow played TE, but with a vicious line backer mentality. He punished tacklers. One of my all time favorites How about Ronnie Harmon - he was a jack of all trades. He bailed us out of many 3rd and longs. He played with HEART!

When i think of a Charger running back who probably doesnt get talked about a lot i think of Little Train. I absolutely loved that guy.

Being where I am I only saw him play on TV. Still remember him jumping up above a much taller Raider defender during a game and making an amazing catch.

He wasnt the greatest RB. But guys like Sproles and Woodhead need to thank him for giving them that type of role as a 3rd down tiny receiving back. Ekeler as well. We have always had that type of small complimentary player on this play at a high level for us. In the passing game especially.

Ronnie Harmon was pretty great as a 3rd down back.
