I think the Chargers coaches pick the 11 starters and 11 subs on both offense and defense and 3 specialists ... then they pick the 6 best ST players or guys they want to protect

    Offense: (25)

    QB: Rivers, Taylor, Stick
    RB: Watt, Ekeler, Jackson, Pope
WR: Allen, Williams, Benjamin, Ingram, Scott, Patton
    TE: Henry, Green, Culkin
    OT: Tevi, Scott, Pipkins, Drango
    OG: Lamp, Feeney, Schofield
    OC: Pouncey, Quessenberry

    PUP - Okung

    Defense: (25)

    NT: Mebane, Jones
    DT: Tillery, Broughton, Square
DE: Bosa, Ingram, Rochelle, Lanier, Peace
    WILL: Davis, White
    MIKE: Perryman, Tranquill
    SAM: Nwosu, Egbule
CB: Hayward, Davis, King, Williams, Facyson
    SS: Phillips
    FS: Jenkins, Adderly, Watkins

    IR - James

    K: Badgley
    P: Long
    LS: Mazza

Guys in red could be on the bubble

    Cuts

    RB Cox, Newsome
    WR Davis

      Good 53 list.
ST value is a huge factor at the bottom of the roster no question.

I see 10 DBs more likely than 10 DL.
Drango adds 0 value. We only have 7 OL active on game days.
WR group is tough to decide on. Is it 5 or 6?
JBrown needs to have a big game in PSG4.
Unless injured Teamer makes the 53
Great to have quality kicking game components.

Pretty good list. I think Geremy Davis makes the team over either Scott or Patton. Davis is a good coverage player on ST and also a very stout blocker on offense. I would not be too surprised if Patton goes to the PS and Scott gets cut. Good teams have to let promising players go. It is a sign of the strength of the front office and the roster. I sure hope this is the year that Dzubnar finally gets cut. He is an above average ST player but just a total wash out on defense.

Patton was virulently anti-Soviet and wanted drive the Red Army back into Russia after Germany surrendered. He didn't want Easter Europe to be occupied by the Soviet Union. President Truman was also very virulently anti-Soviet. But the United States and the Soviet Union had been allies since early in the war, 1941 and going to war against the Red Army just wasn't going to happen. I agree, in many ways it's too bad it didn't happen.

Travis Wakeman makes the case for The General over Davis or Scott.

The Los Angeles Chargers still have one game remaining on the preseason slate but for wide receiver Andre Patton, his fate should already be decided. The f...

I still think only 5 wr make the cut. More depth needed elsewhere. Can always stash a wr on the PS. They are a dime a dozen.

They use 4 receiver sets quite a bit, that makes me think they'll keep 6.
