Would we all like for the Oline draft picks to live up to their potential? Fuck yes! They are still very young players and improving.
Are you upset with the 3 FA Olinemen we brought in over the past 3 years? I'm pleased like a stoner with a box of Ding-Dongs and a glass of milk.
Did TT have a plan for Russell's replacement? Yes, Pipkins. He just was planning for 1-2 years since that coincides with out/end of Okung's contract.

    Is the season lost? No
We have 4 of the 5 Oline starters returning plus Lamp. TScott* has performed well and gets better with every rep.
Really, you're happy with Okung pouncy and sho? Okung is obviously good, pouncy is an upgrade that was needed because TT cant draft a good center. When your draft picks at a certain position don't work out then he has to look at himself and his team and figure out what's working.

It was folly to draft a draft a long term prospect when we have obvious need to build quality depth on our oline now. We need players to push for starting time not to be a dead roster spot.

It has to be obvious that that TT was a need this off season even if you think tevi wasn't horrible he still needed to at least have real competition.

Funny thing about the Colts oline:
      1) it took only one draft to fix it (two guards in the first two rounds).
      2) if Nelson gets hurt, their OL comes down to earth like ours.

There's a big difference between All Pro and Pro Bowl. Even Rivers doesn't have an All Pro. Derwin is the only All Pro on our team. Also Gordon isn't as important as Okung and Derwin.

It's the middle view. Our OL isn't horrible like many on here are saying. But neither is it the best. There's legitimate areas that need to improve. For example, I care less about the tackles compared to guard and center play. That area is the one that determines Rivers' success, not necessarily Tevi or Scott.

Chargers are practicing back at the Hoag Performance Center, so technically, camp is broken.

The first paragraph doesn't make any sense. So you're criticizing TT for not being stubborn and trying to find OL just through the draft? If anything, he should be commended for trying to get talent through different methods and not just one. Sticking solely to the draft is what hurt the other TT (Ted Thompsom).
