I know fans like the idea, but every time I hear one of the DC who run the Seattle 43/34 hybrid talk, they are pretty vocal about having the SAM control the end of the line and funnel the TE, which isn't exactly what White does well. He has instincts and speed, and can run plays down, but that isn't what the SAM does in our D.

I am not a proponent of having Kyzir play SAM in 4-3 Under, per se.

However, against say, DEN, with Noah Fant, Jeff Heuerman and Jake Butt, I wouldn't want to see Nwosu or Egbuke in coverage either.

Opponents always attempt to create matchups.

It is aIways a conundrum.

I did see Emanuel at off line of scrimmage LB on the strong side.

Steve is surely concerned about Kyzir in no way being capable of setting the EDGE.

We will have lots of looks, and Derwin can surely match up well with a TE, as you state.

Ive been hearing (reading) that. That would be good - he was undersized for an NFL LB in many situations. He's got some natural abilities and speed - love the speed - but he was fighting thru that power deficit at times.

2 of the 3 of them will probably be on IR anyway. As for the 3rd, most of the time it would either be Phillips or King covering them.
