I've read they have a 3 safety lineup they've been practicing. So yeah I guess that's one variation we have of the dime (and I assume it's Addae not Stuckey going in though that may depend on the O's personnel).

They are trying different things like always in TC. I dont see how where they line up now is news worthy.

The 3 safety is what we used last year as the base nickel, mainly because we didn't have a 3rd corner worth a damn (some would argue we didn't even a 1st or 2nd too!).

Our outside corners pretty much ranked dead last vs. the #1 and 2 WR's. We were 18th vs. the slot guy. We did best vs. TE's ranking 11th (mainly because Weddle generally lined up against them).

So....seems like there's plenty of room for improvement. It all starts with the outside corners though.

Not really but ok. I think Verrett and Flowers will line up at times outside and in the slot during games so its not really news. It should be expected. Trying different combos should be routine in TC and in preseason games. When injuries happen they will be shuffled around as well.

They need to sit Liuget and let him completely heal. Foot injuries aren't exactly easy to deal with when you weigh 300+ lbs. Throw him in the pool and let him keep his fitness that way. Keep all weight off that damn foot for a while.

Are you a doctor? What's liugets specific injury by the way? If you don't know, maybe don't speak like you do. Liuget said it's just preventative so they stay ahead of it. Doesnt sound like there's anything there to heal. If there was I don't see why they wouldn't let it heal completely. He's a proven player.

Oh and verretts the best corner on this team from day one. Just my opinion but they're not going to be able to keep him off the field. Gotta see flowers play but I'm not completely sold yet just based on practices I've been to. Floyd and Allen have both beaten him pretty consistently
