If Law is looking good, then maybe they trade Keiser to a team that has an injury. Some of these guys imo will need an injury to make the team. Davis is getting some love but i think he doesnt make it unless we have an injury. Ghee is a much better player but dont know why he isnt practicing and he is an injury prone player so maybe he makes it over him due to that. Im thinking PS.
Davis really isnt much of a return man. He had the one kick return against Alabama(which was officially called a PR since it was a missed FG) and that was his claim to fame as a return man. He returned punts as a senior and isnt getting those reps for us.

You never know what will happen as Wright is injured often as well.

Still think Sorenson is a luxury we can't afford this year. He still has PS eligibility. Stash him there. There's greater risk of guys like Inman, Law, and Davis being claimed than Sorenson.

Im willing to bet that to them, Sorenson is a lot more valuable than Davis. Id like to see them all make it but of the three, id say Davis has the tougher odds.

He will be poached by the Broncos 2 weeks before we play in Denver.

                HARDWICK HURT DURING MINICAMP
Chargers center’s injury not considered to be serious; Gates excused from practices

The first minicamp practice for Nick Hardwick may also be his last.

The Chargers center exited the field Tuesday and did not return. Amid a crowd of linemen, he fell to the ground during a team drill, was helped up, and limped into the athletic training room under his own power, appearing to favor his lower right leg.

Early indications were that the injury is not severe.

Asked how Hardwick was, coach Mike McCoy said, “He’s doing good.” Quarterback Philip Rivers was more elaborative, saying he was “just glad it wasn’t too bad.”
Coincidence? 3 backups are also working at center.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Seems like Acee has had a thing for Scafe (since Spanos mentioned him last year). Right now, i don't see why you take Scafe over Guy. But there is a month to figure it all out. The competition/decision between these two will be impacted by how Geathers and Carrethers do in camp (assuming all DL's stay healthy). Personally, I am not banking on Carrethers until he faces some competition in games. Like everyone one else, i hope he makes it and can contribute, but i am not as excited as some, on here, have been about him.

While it is impossible (borderline humorous) to put a prediction out this early, it does give us something to discuss. It's their job.

At least this thread has been free of Yuba's pseudo-statistical diatribes. Makes the re-read less painful.

And who do you think would be gullible enough to trade for Keiser? Why would anyone trade for a player that is likely to be cut?

Yes, Keiser made some plays for us last season. But he is a journeyman. No one is going to give up anything of value for him.
