Promising QB prospects are harder to find than promising WR, OLB/DE, or CB prospects. I would rather protect Sorensen on the final roster and lose a guy like Inman, Law, or Davis than protect the latter 3 and lose Sorensen.

Yes, Keiser made some plays for us last season. But he is a journeyman. No one is going to give up anything of value for him.
Yeah no one is going to trade for keiser lol. It's a good problem to have though. Injuries will happen and the roster will sort itself out. The one position I'm concerned about the most is offensive tackle. The depth there is scary bad on paper. Hopefully someone like Becton has improved and steps up.

          [QUOTE]
The grind and pace seemed to take its toll on a few of them -- guards Chris Watt and Johnnie Troutman both left the field early because of dehydration. McCoy says he cut practice short by a few minutes after players looked like they were wearing down.
I like that, don't get players hurt because they're too tired to move correctly.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

McCoy adds his number one priority is getting the team in better football shape; at his request, second-year linebacker Manti Te'o came to camp five pounds lighter, looking noticeably leaner.

"If you look at our team as a whole, our team's just faster. We look faster, we're moving, we're more explosive," says Te'o. "Everyone out there's feeling good and flying around."

Three days into camp, people in and around Chargers Park are optimistic. The energy is high, the pace is fast, but it's not the physical play that has caught McCoy's attention the most -- what's impressed him has been the way his players have retained information.
The excitement extends to me too. This looks like the best team we've had in a while.

Troutman, Watt, Hardwick all practicing today. Hot and humid for San Diego again.

                  JJ and Gates no pads.
                  Freeney also not practicing.

I think I would take the risk if one of those guys warrant it. All 3 have potential, as does Sorensen, and they MAY have more value to the teams immediate future then Sorensen. We have a month or so before we see how it plays out anyways.
