Ronnie Brown isn't "too valuable" this year. He's taking up an extra roster space that could be used for depth at other positions.

How many old backup third down backs does a team supposedly lacking in depth really need?

There's a difference between depth and quality depth. Brown may have been our offensive MVP last year. Brown is better than anybody the Bolts will have at the bottom end of the roster. The bottom end of the roster will probably be guys you can get from Enterprise Rent a car anytime during the season.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Ronnie Brown as last year's O MVP is laughable.

Allen Green cut from GB. Another option to perhaps improve our RB position.

I predict Goodman, Wynn, Moore aren't on the team on Monday.

Forgive my Football Fan IQ, but unless Moore, Wynn or (injured) Patrick are all ST aces, I thought Keiser looked better in-game than those players. However, I didn't really see Keiser on ST, either... was he atrocious or something?

I was a little surprised by the Keiser release also. He played well. Nice motor. And it was a natural fit with him having so much college experience at 34 OLB. Smart kid. That Stanford LB corp ws good with Thomas. Skov and Marecic.

Nevermind, I just realized I was yammering about DLs being aces on STs. I think I'll have another drink and go to bed...

I still was rooting for Keiser, tho...

Yeah, I thought he had a good motor as well. Didn't know he played in a 3-4 or at Stanford. Hopefully he'll find his way to our PS...

they should have cut brown and kept keiser. is brown even going to be active on gamedays? he's a luxury that we can't afford.
