Lynn said something really important in today's presser. He said that the O line is not set up personnel wise to come from behind. I read that as they have run game players trying to pass block. So I would guess they are lighter more able to get to the second level at the expense of bulk to pass block. Needs to change with Herbert... F150 line needs to change to protect our sportscar.

Our HC isn't set up for comebacks, either...

When Herbert was getting blown up by Nortons missed blocks shouldn't have they put a TE or a RB to chip and help? Again poor at making adjustments on the fly. Just run two TE sets which we rarely see and maybe have them block then swing out for a pass. Man I'm going to have to call Lynn and the O.C to implement my Madden play calls, I'm sure they would work alot better than these flag football plays they call. TDZ2TE3.jpg

Something I never understood with Rivers at QB was going into the shot gun on obvious passing downs and going five wide - that just opened things up for the defense to bring an all out blitz and hope the back 5 defenders could cover long enough.

Sometimes I am not sure what game this or the previous coaching staff was watching.

Thats why Im not totally on the Campen train. Thats not the first time I’ve seen Lamp allow defenders through untouched.
