Manzano just tweeted that Lynn said Pouncey has not been cleared to play yet. If he is not cleared when Free Agency starts - might have to figure out a deal -- or injury settle with him. That cap space could be valuable. That and the fact they will need to sign an OL.

Just for the record - Manzano only said the part that Pouncey is not cleared to play

I added the commentary that if he is not ready by March 15 - or when FA starts - the Chargers might have to think about moving on. Can't tie up 5m of cap space like that. Or maybe they can reduce his salary or something. But with his hip and neck - and he admitted he has made a "s**tload of money" - he might want to retire.
