James is a big blow, no doubt. But CHargers have tons of options until he comes back. Use Phillips, move Jenkins back, Kyzir White played SS in college and can stack the box if needed. Could even play King there -- he loves to hit. The defense will be ok and will really light it up when James does return in November when it really counts.

I think our DL with a healthy Bosa...a double team demanding Justin Jones and Ingram will eat this year. Eat big. And if Tillery jumps in there this secondary could really benefit from that. Lets not forget that Adderley may end up playing soon and could have a major impact roaming CF. Both Phillips and Jenkins can lay the wood in the box. T Davis as started by Bradley is amazing covering TEs. We are still a crazy good D without James.

Trevor has been injured a lot since playing so well a couple of years ago in the absence of...drum roll...Verrett. Now he's replaced Verrett as the injured one. And Adderley hasnt done anything yet to warrant him being anything but potential and HE'S injured. what is it with the DBs? Put Kyzir back as a safety.

I expect big things from him this year. He was destroying guys in the 1v1 drills at the Senior Bowl. You could see his strength on display there. He needed hand work. Sounds like he is developing nicely.
