Maybe PR would sign with the Chargers as the new backup for Herbert. It would be more fun to watch the sidelines with him over there than to watch the game. Dag nam it, I sure miss him; he's a dog gone good player.
    THE YEAR OF THE FLIP!

No L.T. no Gates no Merriman and Rivers gutting it out on a torn ACL from 7 days earlier having the score be 14-12 in the 4th quarter before ultimately losing 21-12 against the best Patriots team of their dynasty.

Hopefully Herbert in his 3rd season starting can get us to the AFCCG at least & hopefully the Superbowl!
Rivers had the help of a really good O line plus running game plus defense. Justin doesnt have much of any of that.

Hopefully, Rivers will suffer some financial setbacks, and with another little one will accept the Charger head coaching position.

St. Michael Catholic was just a spring board all along.

I can live with the growing pains for PR.... because, unlike some who will not be named, eventually he would get better.

growing pains? he could probably fly to LA tomorrow morning and do better than Staley. and that is more credit to Rivers than a dig at Staley, but is still a partial dig (well deserved).

Rivers' son, Gunner, is doing very well as a quarterback. He was one of only two high school quarterbacks in Alabama to throw for 3,000 yards, and he did it as a freshman. He had 29 touchdown passes and four interceptions. Rivers' brother, Stephen, had a great high school career, too, but it didn't translate at LSU or Vanderbilt.

With his father formerly a long-time high school football coach, I'm happy to see Rivers follow through with his plan after retiring from the NFL. I'd like to see him sign on as a Charger for a one-day contract soon and celebrate his career the way they did it for LaDainian Tomlinson, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rivers is not thrilled with the Spanos family or Tom Telesco, now that he's a few years out of the NFL.

Can you imagine Rivers as a HC on the sideline talking smack to opposing players? That would be pretty funny to see.

Ironic the day QB Iron Man Philip Rivers is at SoFi for the first time durable Justin Herbert's season ends.

Did they meet and talk with each other before the game? I have wanted to see them meet face to face.
