That is what I think MGIII is worth - a 2nd. So I think it might indeed be a good trade for the Bolts, because suddenly CB is not a strength for us anymore, and we need an upgrade. Fitzpatrick would fill the bill, IMO. The question is, do the 'Fins feel the same about Gordon? Hard to tell what they are thinking down there in South Florida.
agree w/the second if Miami would agree to the such, and.... Fitzpatrick is a FS/NB, which would entail moving Desmond to corner, and.... Minkah's achilles heel is his tackling @times and the angles he takes.... guessing he can play SS 'til (King) James returns ??
I read a headline that Fitzpatrick was focused on the Patriots. At first glance I took that to mean he wants to play for the Patriots (probably wouldn't mind), but then I remembered NE is playing in Miami Sunday.
Yeah do it, his best position is slot corner, excellent blitzer, that would move king outside to eventually take over for hayward in a year or 2. So youd have hayward 1, king 2, fitz slot. Nasir fs, james ss
Sure...trade Gordon for Fitz straight up...if they want more, throw in a conditional 7th rounder to sweeten the pot...Mel can then help the Fins rebuild the next few years...possible playoff team by 2026...
In theory, that would be great. But no way do I think the Dolphins are going to pay Gordon 13 million dollars
Minkah is not really an outside CB, neither is DK.
Fitz would be a talent for sure, his skillset is best suited as a NCB.
His processing skills are good enough for FS if need be. He is not really physical enough to be in the box all season.
I thought he was a FS, and we just drafted one...but if he has been playing a lot of corner down in Miami, and doing well? I have no problem with a first, if we can look at his pro film, and see a shutdown corner. Oline is the top of my list next off season, but CB is a close second...a position you can never go to sleep on.
But I doubt it happens.
I would say linebackers should be our top priority after shoring up the offensive line.
Well Mr Tranquil needs to show me he deserves to be a starter. I know he has potential but I'm tired of players having potential I want to see what they can do now.

You know between Kyzir (9 tackles/8 solo) and TDavis (14 tackles/7solo) had 23 tackles with 15 solo in game uno?
Did they play perfect? No. Both missed reads and impact opportunities.
- Kyzir was playing in just his 4th game and first as our Mike. TDavis in his first game action with this D system and new teammates.
- Things will improve week to week and hit our stride in mid season.
- Mid-late season we get some impact players back.
