It's kinda hindsight with Benjamin. Going into the week, with Williams banged up and not sure he will be able to play..... He was going to have a piece of the game plan, no matter who else is on the roster. None of our top 4 WR is in any way interchangeable, so they have to mix and match the game plan to accommodate both Williams and Inman/Benjamin as the 3rd WR, as well sa who might play #2 WR.
The general sloppiness is what cost the game. Dropped passes, penalties, missed tackles on D. We let a game we should have controlled get away.
I am also pretty sure the Lions picked up a tell on the outside runs and screens (When the OT released to the outside), so they knew when they were being called. Lions defensive players were cheating toward the call even before the snap. We got a tell too, with Bosa jumping inside on the runs to his side, they stopped calling them, and we didn't.

I've met so many Chargers fans over the past 2-3 years at games and bars and such and I've never met one that doesn't hate Travis Benjamin.
He's had one or two good games during his entire tenure with the Chargers. Patton would do so well in his role.Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:
- 69-74 record
- 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
- Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
- 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
- 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
- Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
- Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

#3 As much as I like Ekeler Justin Jackson needs to be this teams number one back. That doesn't mean that Ekeler won't get his touches but in both of our first two games Justion Jackson has more YPC then Ekeler does who has more carries in both games then Jackson. Or atleast make it more even.
#4 Get Mike Williams more involved in the offense. I know he had some nice catches today but Rivers needs to go to him more often.
#2 The O-line is better at run blocking than pass blockink so yes
#3 Slightly Agree - I just feel Eckler shouldn't get goal line carriees fumbled twice in two weeks near goal line, and did this in pre-season and also last year in the regular seasson
#4 Mike Williams and we need a 3rd reciever to step up in Henry's absence, River staired Keenan down the entire route on the INT

Agreed that the TB#12 experiment needs to in. Move Inman in his place.
The bigger concern in this offense is that we don't have a T.E. Neither Culkin and Green are good pass catchers and for 2nd straight week were invisible. We have to look for Tight End in the draft or Free Agency. Tight end has always been Rivers security blanket and he didn't have that today.

Benjamin is expendable. Chargers need to replace his spot, nuff said.
It's time to justify why Inman made it on the 53 man roster. Prove that he isn't a fraud. Because Artavis Scott was deserving to make the team.

There is nothing wrong with our O if we had all those weapons at the end of the game. But when two of them weren't on the field, then we are limited.

Ok we don't need to add any more wr's that is equal to Keenan or Mike Williams. However I want to see what our other wr's minus TB what they can do. Because right now our offense mostly consists of Ekeler, Allen, Williams and Jackson of about 95 percent of the offense and the rest to the other players on offense.
