You guys are nuts if you think this team will trade 2 first round picks for a guy who is under contract for 1 3/4 more seasons, who wants to be the highest paid CB of all time and we no guarantee of resigning him. We aren't trading for any CB though so Ramsay contract wouldn't be a issue. As for the picks, who do you think we are going to take in a later 1st round pick that will be better than Ramsay? Owners have said the opposite right before a trade as went down. Take a look at Giants owner before the Odell trade.

Understand all this, but the Chargers are not going to "risk" spending 2 first round draft picks for a guy that they will control for the rest of this season and next, especially in an area that is not even close to the biggest area of need on the team.

Wood, I had concerns about Adderley pre-draft due to those two injuries he had, one before the combine, and one during his pro day. This is now the SECOND time Nas has been injured with us...at the time, he looked like a steal in round 2, but now, ask yourself, why did all those teams pass on him and he fell so far? Well, I guess we know why. Sure hope he doesn't turn into Verrett 2.0...

is Ramsey really worth more than a second ?? have no problem w/him as a player and a person for that matter, albeit if I'm in charge'round here, not sure I want to have to take responsibility for that mouth in relationship to my team's best interest ??

and don't quite get the interest in Fournette as there is talent in the draft ahead, and....

would prefer we begin the process of stockpiling picks (like many other successful teams/franchises) rather than (mindlessly) trading away valuable draft capital.... (if your FO doesn't hit on picks you are not gonna be a Bowler, as don't think the argument that you should trade away picks cuz they rarely pan out, holds water.... if you want to be a SBer, your picks need to pan out).

think the most likely Ramsey destination is Seattle and PC.

and sobering as it may sound, don't see much reason that the Chargers aren't staying the course w/Scott, Tevi and Pipkins @tackle ??

taking on a high priced superstar pokes holes in the lowest common denominators theory as well, as if the theory is correct that the best rosters are the ones that have the most consistent level of talent, and if you choose to invest in high end QB, DE, CB, etc.... where does that leave you ??

do like Ramsey, and have lobbied for him to become a Charger in the past, and.... do think the best move @this juncture is for Tom to continue to sit on his hands.
