I'd wager there is nothing wrong with Ramsey's back...dude wants out of Jacksonville...just more games.

If his back is jacked up enough that he can't play and needs to see a specialist - pass.

Yep...as much as I like Ramsey's talent, these recent red flags are enough to scare me off from a trade...what if Ramsey plays a few games and doesn't like Bradley's defensive calls? What if he pulls a pouting fit, or unleashes a tweetstorm or a fake injury? Now, I'll even agree I don't like a lot of Bradley's calls, but when you're a player, you shut your mouth and play. Ramsey just failed his psych eval test. PASS...

Wood, I think a lot would depend on whether Ramsey is injured or not, and how the Bolts evaluate his behavior. He does have some history as a bit of a headcase, which is a concern to me. Gordon, in my book, by pulling this holdout, is a bit of a headcase also. The thing about headcases is they are unpredictable. You never know when the next incident is going to happen, and how much it will blow up. The Bolt Brass will need to make this call. Hope they make the right one...

He's not in a position to command a big contract. If you're worried about the salary cap or a headache, Ramsey ain't cheap, has little time left on his current deal, wants a big payday going forward and has quit on his team.

rumor has it that the Chinese say us Americans are too impatient.... would the timing be better to wait Ramsey out 'til he hits FA in a coupla seasons, and when Phil is off the books and perhaps Casey is ready to resign on a team friendly deal ??

Good point, Beach. I don't want to sign Ramsey on a 1.5-year rental. It's gotta be a contract extension to a total 4-year deal or so, image.png he passes the smell test...

I'd take Ramsey for a couple of years. This is our window with Rivers. I also think if we are able to get him. Derwin and him will make it work. Like the scheme or not. Brother make sure you get it right. Make a move that will pay off.
