5-1 was quite realistic with a little discipline and average coaching. It's now evident will be very lucky to be 4-2 with the current squad run by our coaching staff.

I'm pretty optimistic but even i see 5-1 as pretty difficult at this point. thats ok, the season still lies ahead. 2-2 after this week and a bit more humble and hungry. Pound down the fish, run a few wins together, things will look brighter. Get MD out there to cover someone, get Hunter back a few weeks later, maybe add in an Okung and cap it with Sir James around week 10 .. see Tillery begin to learn NFL football ... integrate The Naz and the Tranq Gun ... the team will be getting stronger as the season clock ticks down.

Okung is the biggest doubt. Life is more important than football - thats not an injury, its an existential risk. But Docs and Fam will know and decide around week 7.

We all know the Dolphins are tanking, but a few stats may explain why we are 16.5 pt favorites:

The Dolphins offense is 31st in the league and has scored 16 total points and is averaging 222 yards of offense per game (177 yards passing and 45 yards rushing).

The Dolphins defense is 32nd in the league and has allowed 133 total points and is allowing 499 yards against them per game (291 yards passing and 208 yards rushing).

They have the worst giveaway/takeaway ratio in the league at -6.

I expect a total beat down by us as we take out our frustrations on them. We have struggled there in years past but this team is not one that will give us much trouble.

The Chargers have totally beaten themselves down vs Det & Hou. We're getting pretty good at it.
We're 0-7 at Mia since 1984.
I'd like to think we have a 50/50 chance at a W but am not comfortable. We're pretty bad too.

Actually, no. If you think you have the mojo, go for it...but that's for everyone, whoever is first after gameplace midnight. I'm personally not much for making anything "official"... just don't get that. Also if Fleet has someone in mind or himself, we defer to him.
