Vincent Jackson was one of my least favorite players, maybe just one step ahead of Shaun Phillips. Neither of those guys demonstrated a desire to win.

Making him play for a tender taking advantage of the situation was a bitch move by AJ.
VJ played a large part in why VJ isn't a ChargerHashtag thepowderblues

Still would of been much better than anything Meachum, Royal, McClain gave us combined last season and we wouldn't be talking about cutting him 1 season into his extension.
That's a fair point. They should of traded him if they didn't believe in him. He walked and we got stuck with nothing. Not even a comp pick. Fact remains AJ took advantage of the uncapped year and screwed him and the team in retrospect. It became a lose lose situation with how he handled it.

When it boils down to it though, it would have been money well spent regardless of what else happened because he was a productive player in our system. The dollars we gave Meachum, Royal, and McClain were completely worthless. Meachum couldn't even beat out a street FA in DX. We were picking up guys off the street last season at WR. It was that bad.
Not to mention add VJ to our current WR corps over Meachum/Royal.Last edited by Beerman; 07-30-2013, 10:44 PM.

FOOTBALL STARTS AND ENDS IN THE TRENCHES.... The opposition will attack your weakness. Our 2012 wekness was quite obvious to any casual observer.Last edited by TABF; 07-30-2013, 10:53 PM.

Maybe VJ catches that TD vs. the Browns and we win that game. There's a ton of different things that could have happened.
