There is no need to overreact and the front off won't.
yes, team has been decimated by injuries, but others deal with it far better than Chargers.....

The bigger issue is that our biggest problems were not caused by injuries.....

Our OL has sucked for Rivers' entire career..... only his quick decisions and quick release have allowed him to have the success he has....... The organization has known this for years but has refused to do much to fix it except an occasional average FA..... or drafting very iffy OL prospects..... there are other teams that draft way way better players on OL, DL, LB, CB, WR, .... than Chargers do. many teams rebuild OL's in only 2-3 years.....

Chargers knew the OL was a problem before this season and they knew Okung likely was not going to play....and maybe not play this year, yet we traded for no one??? Tunsil? Trent Williams?..... would have solidified our LT position for the first time in a decade or more...

The organization also knew that this team was worst tackling/run defense team in NFL last year yet, we added old man Davis and virtually nothing else...... Mebane is washed up yet we resigned him....
most of our LBers are too small to play LBer.....most are tweeners not meant for the position.... they get run over or injured on regular basis... both signs of being too small.....

Losing Gordon made the team better because the offense played more like a team without him......

James was the injury that had biggest impact till we lost our Center and our OL started giving up jail breaks.....

Yes we have had injuries to Ingram, jackson, and our receivers and safeties, but our biggest flaws are the same as they were last year:
    • We can't tackle or stop the run when its actually needed .....
    • and we cannot pass block when we actually have to throw.........
    • and since LT, we have struggled to successfully run in goal line and short yardage plays, when defense knows we are going to run..... .

Those basic things will keep you from winning against almost anyone..... which is why we have only out played one team, Miami......

Good points, Charge, especially on the LB's--Brown is such a liability who needs to be cut at the end of the season...tired of his launchwhiffing...Old Man Davis is running on fumes...an okay backup, but not a starter...Dzoobie is a backup who needs to be upgraded...so slow...Perryman is our best run stuffer, but is a liability in coverage...Nwosu does his best work rushing the passer--in the flats vs. a runningback, he takes bad angles and misses a lot...Tranquill shows some promise--give the dude some more reps...
