Why is there a rumor in the first place? Has Spano's made it leak he may sell? That would actually be a great thing. I wouldn't want him involved or his incompetent Sons.

Why? Spanos can never sell the team? Or are you referring to the time frame? Because i never said it was something that would be soon.

The Spanos are in it for the long haul. Dean Spanos would screw John Spanos royally if they sold.
Something tells me the new ownership would not want John Spanos as president of football operations - or whatever the hell his title is.

Brady vs Belli? My gosh, the NFL owners would be salivating at the potential ratings.

I'm not sure it has ever been made public who owns what after Alex Spanos passed away. When he passed, he owned 36% and Dean and his 3 siblings each owned 15% of the team. If he spread the 36% among his kids than anyone buying the team has to get at least 4 Spanii to agree to sell.

The nfl doesn’t allow investment groups to own teams unless there’s on guy with 30%. There might be an exception for an owner to stay in at less than that percent.

                      Spanos wouldn't sell.

Most likely an indication that spanos is all in on the LA market.

He needs to boost the lagging PSL sales and get more Charger fans in the stands.

He sees Brady and Mcdaniels as a chance to do that.

Btw I also heard the Brees rumor too.

Now that Brady is on the decline, if he doesn’t play in NE next year, watch the NFL pull some strings to increase ticket sales in LA.

Really hard to gauge how much Brady has left in the tank as he is playing behind a crappy line with little talent at the skill positions. If the goal is to sell tickets, they may make a play for him but that is not a great solution.
