I just think back to how bad McDaniels was with the Broncos and shudder to think of him as our head coach. Hopefully he ate some crow and comes back humbler.

you're right. i'm just getting desperate, and willing to accept more high risk/high reward guys in general.
I tend to believe (hope) he's learned from his (many) mistakes and has realized that he'll likely get one other shot at being a HC outside of New England
his ego isn't even the biggest concern, i'd say it's his character.

Brady is a better QB than Rivers.
So......he should be able to get another win in regular season schedule than Rivers would.
So what is a 9-7 record with Rivers and 1 game short of postseason, would be 10-6 with Brady and in the playoffs. What is a 2pt playoff loss by Rivers, could be a 1pt Charger win with Brady.

Doubt Brady ever plays anywhere but New England.
But it is possible if Patriots move on from him and he still wants to play. But why would NE do that. If he is playing well and at a discounted price.

McDaniels is a good OC, didn't fare to well as a HC at Denver. Sure that was a while ago and he could of learned as time has passed,.....but Norv didn't.
