Keenan Allen & Mike Williams are way better than any combination of WR that the Steelers have on the field and that is even with a healthy JuJu Shuister. They have had injuries on there O-line too and Pouncey was suspended. I get the turnover difference, but how we don't beat teams with lesser talent on offense especially at QB, we have lost to Duck Hodges (Pitt), Lock (Den), Tanneyhill (Ten), Flacco (Den), as bad as Rivers has been at times he is way better than these guys shouldn't we be at least 8-4 against those QB's that we should of won the games.

Turnovers are key, but man look at that list of QB's we lost to
Another significant difference is their pass defense. We allow slightly fewer passing yards than they do, but they are 3rd in the league in sacks and 5th in opposing QB pass rating. We are 26th in sacks and 23rd in opposing QB rating. They just don't make the stupid mistakes to beat themselves and play good defense.

we are a mediocre franchise that consistently fields mediocre teams that we tend to think should be better than mediocre. ocassionally -- but only when the team has hired a HC who HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN SUCCESSFUL AS A HC -- we break out of the mediocre mold and have a couple of noteworthy seasons. Gillman, Coryell, Ross and Schottenheimer.

Lynn is just another in the long line of medicore hires that have plagued this franchise. June Jones, Dan Henning, Kevin Gilbride, Mike Riley, Mike McCoy and now Anthony Lynn. I'm sure that I'm intentionally forgetting some

Lynn was not ready to be HC much less a great Coordinator. Just watch the PO game against NE and you will see why Rivers is moving on or retiring.

Coaches are paid to find & exploit the weakness of other teams. Game management is a given, Lynn and Co. Can’t even do that.

BTW Rivers was 7 for 7 completions in 4th qtr against Denver yesterday

This. I kinda think he has the best vision for the team moving forward, if everybody else would just get on board.

The reason Lynn needs to go is he can’t even manage the game much less take over play calling after letting Whiz go. They look lost on the sideline while Rivers is telling them to run the clock down at end of game. We see it every week, the bone-head mistakes mixed in with early turnovers. Until Lynn can get this team under control and play mistake free football, I say no to Lynn. I would rather go to Norv Turner and beg Rivers to sign for two more years.

If Rivers somehow stays OL needs to be top priority in Draft and FA.

So much wrong with this post. Rather see Norv Turner? You are certainly no visionary. I wanted Norv fired the day he was hired

Then get him a running game
                  along with a game manager.
We do not play modern football.

Lynn will be given a year and unless he delivers a playoff berth he is gone next season.

Gus Bradley will need to go. He doesn't seem to understand the flaws to the defense he runs. Most notably the D-line. He's had a say in fielding the roster on the defense, and it's turned out pitiful.

Because he doesn't blitz, he's playing his defense honest. You need the D-line to do well with that. Which he doesn't. You also need good depth in the rotation, which he also doesn't. Gus is delusional about the D-line he has. Lynn is in part to blame too. The drafting of Tillery alone isn't nor wasn't going to improve the pass rushing. Both Bradley and Lynn overestimated the talent they have on the D-line outside of Bosa and Ingram. Interior defense continues to be a big issue.

Mebane and Square hinder the potential of the defense. We lost out on a good prospect in Chris Peace because of what Lynn and Bradley were content with. Mebane was done a long time ago. He's a Wooly Mammoth at this point. Damion Square isn't that good. He's a good hustle player, but is neither exceptional in run or pass defense. Not a player you want if you want to take your defense to the next level.

Rochell was good last year. But hasn't been up to par this year. His ability to play between the DE and DT positions is another flaw on the defense. He doesn't have the speed at DE, and the only edge rusher the Chargers have behind Bosa and Ingram is Nwosu. You need speed at DE.

D-linemen is physically demanding and the bigger guys fatigue quicker. You need a good depth of rotation. The saying you cannot have enough pass rushers is not a myth. Someone who understands this is the one the team should get as their new defensive coordinator.

I agree 2020 is Lynn make or break year.

He has to coach the players he'll have in 2020 regardless if Rivers is the QB or someone else. Lynn will need to be assertive for sure.

                        1. Lynn needs to voice the needs of player personnel acqusiitions FA & Draft and stay away from his ex-Buffallo players
                        2. Lynn start your best guys no Vet loyalty any body amazed how Dunzbar made this team?
                        3. Lynn needs to find an new OC I am not sold on Shane Steichen he seems to be doing the same as Wiz with questionable play calling, long developing passes, and not make game time adjustments.
                        4. Lynn needs to have Gus Bradley on a short leash the D has done enough to keep us in games but Bradley will get super conservitive in crunch time. Bradley will have full arsenal in 2020 Bosa, Ingram, James, and hopefull the 2019 rookie class steps up Tillery, Adderly, and Tranquill is already prime to start in 2020

Lynn it is alll on you in 2020 no freakin 0-4, 1-3 or 2-2 starts you bet come out ready.

                          Keep Bradley too.

Christ, the defense has been doing some things.

Imagine what'd they look like if the offense could ever spot them a lead?!?
