yes he did, for about a week and then Marty cut him in favor of Tim Dwight who came back from being hurt. Dwight was always injured and that was his last season with us. He wasnt that good a WR either.

They released Welker because the team needed a safety. Not sure how much a hand Marty had in aquiring Clinton Hart and cutting Welker in the process.

Yeah that's it. They acquired Hart. Still Dwight was hurt and he was pretty useless to us. Who kmew Weller would be the WR he is. I don't think he got a real chance there with Marty.

Which brings us back to Herndon and the possibility that he could be said player.

Would rather roll with Herndon, Inman, or Reese over Brown. For the simple fact that all 3 would be under team control for a few years. Brown's a FA following this season and has shown nothing to earn another contract.
