Watts cheap and serviceable vet min keeper, Phillips has shown he can play before this season so another keeper cheap.
Henry as you know is a difference maker when healthy and vital if we draft a qb this draft.

As for rivers future with the team I think he is done as bad as our oline has been he has massively regressed this season and I don't see the benefit of keeping him any longer and think team is also thinking that way.

Watt is one of the best Special Teams players in the league.
We do not play modern football.

          I feel Watt is under-utilized.

            completely and wholehardledly agree +1000000000000

Is anyone as tired of Shotgun and empty sets as i am?

IF we dont have 3 good WR, then use 2. I think Watt provides more offense than Patton/Benjamin/Inman/Davis/Moore/Scott/whoever

Agree...if you're going to carry a fullback on your roster, at LEAST line him up as an upback in the I-formation for about half of your running plays. Watt should be used a LOT more for a quick count, quick opener. But no....Rivers has to let the clock dwindle down to 1 second, so we lose the element of surprise a quick opener would bring. If Rivers was under center more often, he could actually sell the play action fake to Watt more often. But no...they keep lining up in that stinking shotgun with the predictable handoff to Gordon up the gut for nada...we have the most predictable playcalling in pro football...

Rivers is gone for his cap hit alone $23M. Maybe then they can sign some OL. Gordon is $16M this year and will probably want that going forward so he should be gone too. Ridiculous given his injury history and in an era where you can get a decent FA RB for 1/2 that.

Gordon's base salary is $4.6 mil this year, after losing out on $1.2 mil due to missing the PS and all those games...

Melvin Gordon contract and salary cap details, full contract breakdowns, salaries, signing bonus, roster bonus, dead money, and valuations.

Melvin Gordon has decided to end his holdout earlier than expected, and it would not be a surprise if his decision was financially motivated. By sitting

I had no idea there were so many FA's! Wow, that's a lot of holes to fill.

I have always thought you shouldn't release a player unless you know you have or can get a replacement that's better. Guys that demand more $$ than they are worth are the exception to that rule. I'm not sending any starters packing just yet. I'd wait to see who declares for thwe draft, who's available in the FA period, etc.

While not technically 2020 free agents, the following should be dumped at the end of this year:

Brandon Mebane - high quality teammate but clearly slowing down. This was the biggest 2019 off season complaint I had; they not only resigned Brandon, but gave him a raise. Nutso contract.

Thomas Davis - again, high-character team leader - but looks so slow and un-athletic these days.
