And his quick release couldn't help him because the OC didn't draw up innovative enough passing plays to deal with it. BTW..who is our OC again? Right!
Rivers looked great last Sunday. .

Finally had a chance and went thru about 75% of the passing plays and I gotta say, to my eye, they had good protection and maintained depth at times. #17 plays best when the Offensive Line can provide depth....but imo the biggest factor was the Jags had major issues covering some of the shorter routes or when EK or Gordon were used as scat protection - they were open.

I did notice two incomplete passes where I suspect PR got rid of it/throw away because he felt the pressure getting there, but didn't quite get there. I am positive there is some trust issues - although I honestly think there's oline improvement.

Against the Vikings, I doubt some of those completions will be there. They will generate pressure (which Jags did to an extent) but will sit on those short routes. Running game has to get going for the bolts offense to be effective - need the PA.

Defensively, they have their work cut out. Minnesota can run the ball and Cousins doesn't take a lot of chances. Hes pretty efficient. Very low TD to INT ratio.

Patience and field position will be the key. If both teams play well, I see it as a very evenly matched game.

    Key match ups :
    A) Chargers Pass pro vs Vikings front 4
    B) Chargers defending the run. ie keeping Vikings out of 3rd and short.

I need Rivers to live and live well Fantasy Playoffs, my season in a 14 team league consisted of dropping Matt Stafford, or start Sam Darnold against Baltimore, Rivers is my only hope!!!!!

Lamp gets an asterick...I would put him above Feeney had he made it this season. He gets one more year before I throw in the towel, and call injury bust.
The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

Viking fan tells me to play Rivers over Rodgers...I think I agree against Vikes...claims their secondary is their weakness.

It is the weakest part of their D. Xavier Rhodes is having a brutal year, nowhere near the player he used to be.

He’s been a bust when he played too, not gonna let the endless injury string distract from when he has taken snaps. Small School great white poof ... fugghetaboutit. Feeney sucks, and he has never been able to beat him out.

I'd put Jenkins above Tevi. Lamp is a incomplete but still above Scott and Patton

Disagree! I thought he was very good in pass protection when in there.
He wasn't pushed backwards as easily as feeney/schofield, and gave Rivers plenty to space to move up in pocket.

Rivers should blow up. I wish i could trust that statement....
