How can the Chargers be taken seriously when, after one of the most epic collapses in NFL history, our head coach says, IN PUBLIC, that he believes he coached that game at a high level?????? It's literally like stand up comedy with him. He's going to get another year to prove himself - I hope he can.Originally posted by Heatmiser View Post
The national consensus is wrong. Total BS. Guys like Ekeler, James, Allen, Williams, Herbert, Linsley, Mack, Davis, Tranquil, Slater, Van Noy, etc are not coasting for a paycheck. That’s garbage.

Players talk to each other: they'll talk about practice / training camp regimens.Originally posted by jamrock View PostWhat's up with this quote from Jason Kelce in the espn article about Howie Roseman?
"Every day in this building, you better come ready to go, every time you step on the field, you better come ready to go. Because it doesn't matter if you're undefeated, if you have a s--- game, somebody is going to let you know. You ain't just coasting through a season like you're the Chargers. There is a sense of urgency here on the East Coast, and in Philadelphia, with sports teams. It can be hard. But it can also be incredibly rewarding."

For most of the season, saying that the Chargers looked like they were coasting would not be stretching matters.

It was odd for me to hear Staley praise the players later in the season for how hard they played? I’m thinking that is the bare minimum we should expect. Play your hardest. “Both teams played hard”-Rasheed WallaceOriginally posted by powderblueboy View Post
