pffft. Minshew is mediocre, he always has been. 84 rating last year, QBR 59. There's a reason he's going on his 4th team in 6 years. Teams hold on to good QBs like life depends on it...

He's not an upgrade over Garoppolo really.

I've always liked Minshew and have always considered him a top 16 QB in the league. I'd say better than David Carr.

In Edwards, the Bolts got a role player. Which is exactly what they lost in Ekeler. Different roles, but neither is a feature back.
