Brown wanted to play on it, but the team doctors knew it was healing improperly, so they shut him down, that tells me a couple of things #1 they knew he wouldn't last like that anyways and #2 they probably had concerns about what playing him like that could do to his longterm viability or perhaps even some potential life threatening situation, there are a lot of large blood vessels that run close to that area, you don't want that bone swimming around in there causing trouble..."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Not at all .... just expecting a normal rate of attrition on part of the Chiefs.Originally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post
wishful thinking? we need to beat the fuckers with all their weapons intact, I don't want to hear how we only won because they lost pieces...
They've always miraculously avoided season ending injuries early,
and pretty much late into the season. How huge of an advantage has that been for them?
Expecting Kelce to do things no NFL tight end has ever done before at the age of 35?
Expecting a 5'11' pound - 165 pound receiver (sopping wet) to make it through an NFL season as a rookie?
Okay, then how about Chris Jones, Creed Humphrey, ....
Wanting to beat them fully intact while the Chargers have a few guys out is expecting too much,
nor is a victory any sweeter.

I just finished week5 of rotator cuff repair recovery, which is much less significant. Feeling a lot better but still not using the arm and can only lift my empty handed arm to about 4 o’clock high (imagine the dial). Miles from weeks 1 and 2 though - I’m on my way… start PT next Fri.Originally posted by sonorajim View Post

I have a hard time wishing, hoping or rooting for opposing teams to have major injuries, I guess I'm a superstitious fuck, I just feel that hoping bad shit to happen to other people will blow up in my face, it's just the way I was raised too...Originally posted by powderblueboy View Post

I'd rather hope that Minter finds a way to fuck with Andy and Mahommes and that Roman finds a way to run consistently on the Chiefs etc..."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Rotator cuff surgery is no joke. Tough recovery, PT is a grinder. I dont know what Hollywood Brown has going on.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

his issue is in the inside SC joint, from what I've read it's considered a more involved recovery time than rotator cuff surgery...Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post

Agree, I’m not going to wish for opponents to get hurt, but I will never care if they have players on IR/deactivated hurt when we play them. No team has ever cared who was hurt on the Chargers, and we won’t start caring about them. We’ll play whoever shows up and that is just fineOriginally posted by Fouts2herbert View Post

Oh fuck yeah, I could give two shits if anyone of our opponents loses key guys, but just not going to wish for it to happen, that's where I draw the line...Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post
