If he ends the season with 18 sacks that would only cost them $2.6 million per sack! Detroit is suffering due to multiple issues including losing their OC.[/QUOTE]
Yeah, that's why he played so well on Thanksgiving. Lol.
Parsons' cap hit is $9.97 million this season, by the way.
But if we're going by average salaries per year, and by your logic, our front office paid Justin Herbert $2.26 million for every touchdown pass he threw last season.
Of course Parsons and Herbert affect games in other ways, so all of that is silly.

The job Dave Canales has done with the Carolina Panthers seems to be falling under the radar, but I'm impressed with the way they're playing.
They're 7-6 and fighting with the 7-5 Buccaneers for the NFC South division title. They face each other twice over the next month.
Not bad for a guy who took over a team that went 2-15 in 2023 and appeared to have a complete bust at quarterback in Bryce Young. They look like they're heading in the right direction.

The NFL Radio guys were saying how the Panthers had no chance and they really shouldn't even bother to show up.Originally posted by DerwinBosa View PostThe job Dave Canales has done with the Carolina Panthers seems to be falling under the radar, but I'm impressed with the way they're playing.

This is the franchise that had Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield on the roster and couldn't make it work. I'm glad they stuck with Bryce Young and let him develop.
